PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2009 to 2015: Program Coordinator for Geos Institute, a nonprofit climate change planning and forest protection group in Ashland, Oregon, supporting public outreach, events, website maintenance, and fundraising.
1999 to 2008: Deputy Director for Siskiyou Regional Education Project, a nonprofit forest advocacy group in Takilma, Oregon, working on public outreach and fundraising (grants, donor drives, and events).
1985 to 1998: President of Headwaters, a nonprofit forest advocacy group in Ashland, Oregon, engaged in public forest policy research, D.C. lobbying, litigation support, media relations, USFS/BLM timber sale tracking, and mapping.
1977 to 1984: Personal computer consultant and instructor in California and Oregon.
1975 to 1982: River guide and co-director of American Whitewater School on rivers in California, Oregon, and Idaho.
1970 to 1974: Systems programmer for IBM in Houston, Texas.
